RTR Sports Marketing helps global brands navigate motorsport sponsorship across F1, MotoGP and NASCAR. Despite its deep industry expertise, its website attracted mostly motorsport fans rather than sponsorship decision-makers.

Mavlers rebuilt the site around commercial questions such as sponsorship costs, ROI, series selection and agency choice, optimizing content for both search visibility and AI citations.

Client Objectives

The challenges RTR faced

1.
The site was built for fans, not buyers

Content focused on race schedules, calendars and sponsor round-ups. It generated attention, but little commercial intent.

2.
RTR was missing from high-value questions

Queries around sponsorship costs, ROI, series comparisons and agency selection were not covered clearly enough to compete in search or AI answers.

3.
Authority was not reaching commercial pages

Blog content was not consistently linked to the service pages that could convert high-intent visitors into enquiries.

4.
There was no clear conversion journey

Readers would arrive, learn something, and leave without a clear route to making an enquiry.

5.
AI assistants had little to cite

The content was not structured in a way that made it easy for ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity to extract and reference RTR’s expertise.

Mavlers Strategy

How we rebuilt RTR’s visibility

1.
Mapped the real sponsorship decision journey

We mapped the questions buyers ask before signing a sponsorship deal - from choosing a series and team to evaluating packages, contracts and expected returns.

2.
Rebuilt the commercial page estate

Ten priority service pages, the homepage and the “Why RTR” page were restructured around commercial intent, trust, risk, ROI and decision-maker language.

3.
Created content around buyer decisions

We reworked 22 blogs and produced 50 new outlines, each mapped to a specific step in the sponsorship funnel.

4.
Optimized content for AI citation

Pages were written with direct question-based headings, self-contained answer blocks, TL;DR summaries, defensible cost ranges and credible external references.

5.
Strengthened the technical foundation

Templatised schema was deployed across service and blog templates. Content clusters were interlinked across Formula 1, MotoGP, IndyCar, Formula E and NASCAR.

6.
Built clear routes to conversion

Commercial pages received stronger CTA placement, improved form positioning and consistent in-content enquiry paths.

7.
Timed delivery around the buying cycle

The editorial programme was published ahead of the September to December 2026 sponsorship research and shortlisting window.

Results

What RTR achieved

RTR's AI visibility score reached 57.8%, with a 45% citation share across monitored AI answers.

Keywords appearing in AI Overviews jumped from 17 to 56 (a 229% increase).

In July 2026 alone, RTR secured 15 qualified signups. Notably, 20% of these came directly through AI channels that had produced zero leads six months prior.

The work gave RTR more than rankings. It created a scalable content and technical foundation designed to compound across future sponsorship research cycles.
